I still happen to be having that Bushwacka climb not working problem, on a clean install of sm and the VSH plugin. Sniper rifles lose their crits if you have the bushwacka like normal, but when attempting to climb, nothing appears in the ingame TF2 console nor my server's console as used to run the game.

Is there some other console you might be talking about or something?

It simply isn't working. Is there some setting I missed somewhere?

Also you're probably aware but the glitch where some items don't appear or some attributes don't apply still happens randomly during the first few rounds on map change. (Mantreads without their jump height, shields/boots not spawning at all, gunboats not spawning, etc). As well as spies getting minicritted on rare occasion, unless that was intentional. I'm mostly only worried about the bushwacka thing though.

the funnier part is, the bushwacka works on Valve maps lol, but on custom maps, it simply refuses to climb the worldspawn :/, bushwackas are going on strike or something?

They only climb on hitting world (ent 0) stuff, so breakables/etc won't cause them to climb. I should come up with something better than that.

TF2Attributes update will fix the other stuff related to weapons.

Question, though, are people losing health when they attempt to climb, or do they not lose any health but still not climb?


Also, tf_weapon_criticals 1 or 0?

my tf_weapon_criticals are at 0 atm, people aren't losing health when they climb at all, it works just like a normal melee weapon, the fire rate goes back to normal speed and so on.

Anyone have this running on steam pipe? It's crashing for me when it tries to spawn saxton. Also tf2 items give weapon crashes the server.

Is this because the game data for Sourcemod is incorrect for steam pipe?

I have no clue why, but when the saxton hale game it's self starts, after the countdown, the server will just crash and restart.
for example the "waiting round" will start fine, once said round is over the game will start, everything seems fine until the countdown hits one and it crashes.

I have weapon crits set to 0, interesting question though, I'll try it out the other way.

Also, it doesn't work on Valve maps for me either.

Though, isn't this based off of Slag's Camper Climber thing? Dunno why his is fine and this isn't if so.

Edit: Setting weapon crits to 1 didn't change anything.

I can tell you with utmost certainty that it's because you have tf_weapon_criticals 0 that the Bushwacka isn't working. Look up sm_tf_weapon_criticals (it's a plugin I made) which disables crits while keeping the cvar at 1.

However, in some future SM update, it'll work with crits off. But not yet.

Dazzuh: seems like outdated SM, I had that for a while too until I updated SM to the latest 1.5 snapshot.

nineteen: no idea how SteamPipe does with this, probably gamedata or something.

I tried with both the latest 1.4 and the latest 1.5, re-installed everything and I still get the same problem, Clean server, too. Only have the requirements for this + the plugin it's self of course.
