Afaik, it's similar to when you use "setinfo _pw "mypassword"" on your client except for the server. I use it in Polymorph to retain the number of maps played on one MOD. The biggest difference I think is going to be the longevity of the info. When you stop the server all info is lost. With nVault you can retain the info through a stop/start cycle. In Polymorph, I did not want to retain the info.

get_localinfo() and set_localinfo().

Ah, well in that case then I feel that nVault is the more suitable choice for the task at hand.
If the server stops, there is no reason the admins should need to reconfigure the settings to the way they need once the server starts up again.

I don't see why an admin would ALWAYS want one team or the other muted.

If the plugin is going to save over map changes, then I'd think it would be silly to have it reset every time a server crashes or goes down, which happens quite often to most people. In my honest opinion, resetting the saved settings when the server restarts or shuts down would defeat the purpose of having the save feature at all.

It would survive mapchanges and restarts (iirc). Just not crashes and stop/start cycles.

I'll just go on my way now and keep my opinions to myself as they differ from too many people to argue lol .

I was first thinking that every player could choose which team he wants to hear, but as an admin option, as fysiks i don't really see what you use nvault, cvar, vault or file would be enough.

I think using set_vaultdata() & get_vaultdata() would be suffice.

Code is correct, and nvault is fine to use even if it's not really justified.
Approved, but please use simple vault or any save system.
