Just wondering if anybody has considered it?

Could use L. Dukes rescure system from VIP Mod, you can make it DM style or classic CS style (they all die with no capture the opposing team wins), I think you'd see DM style more often.

ctf_dm 1
(basically would use the respawn system that CSS: DM would use, except it would user original spawns from the map)

There's plenty of potential and ideas. that can come of this.

Not so much a request, but an idea for anyone who's looking for one (if not yet considered)

I think it would be best to not bother with the DM code, and let CS:S DM be used in conjunction with CS:S CTF.

Thing is, CTF is a teamplay game, the teams spawns should not be modified...at all.

I'm not saying take the code or anything like that, just use it's respawn system to force the respawn, use L. Duke's zoning system (From VIP) to create (in configs) the place for where the flag needs to be brought back to, use c0ld's model management apps (like in zombie) to allow for the change in player model if they have the flag.

and I have no idea how to make it so they pick up the flag, but I would think it's possible.

The basic rundown is that this project is possible, for anyone who wants to pick it up...it was a suggestion for someoen to try to mess around with. I'm not requesting it be done, it's just an idea ;).

I've been looking all over for a CS:Source CTF mod, something similar to GHW_chronics but converted from 1.6 to source. Would be great if a talented guy like him jump on this project

you may have to download models but they aren't included in the package (I know his plugin uses models).
