Actually, that's a really good idea and would work wonderfully. Thanks

This plugin should be approved as soon as possible. It is so useful.

A request: Put the version number of the plugin in the name of the thread, as well as the date that it was last updated.
It is nice to see if any update came up only seeing the name of the topic.

Dynamic Hostname 2.0 [ 8/19/2008 ]

And done. ;)

Working on the new version now... not sure how long it'll take (I'm a slow programmer; this is the first thing I've coded on my own!) but it'll be done soon!

I would like to know how to code on my own too.
It must be nice to do plugins all by your self and release it to people just to see what they think about it.

Great plugins need time to be done and that is no different from this one.
Take as much the time as you need. Congratulations

sorry to say:

sometimes %t is not working, don't know whether is's related with sm_timeleft not an unknown command
Code:
10:31:12 sm_timeleft
10:31:13 Unknown command "sm_timeleft"
10:31:13 L 08/24/2008 - 10:30:50: rcon from "58.37.200.71:3705": command "sm_timeleft"
%n just works fine.

ps. I'm using snapshot 1.1 builds.

Hmm, that's strange. sm_timeleft is not in the plugin anywhere... I have no clue why that's happening. :/

Maybe someone more experienced could give me an idea?

I am using 1.1 builds and it is working fine here. It must be a plugin that it's not working, a plugin that has this cvar. I don't know.

So, any news about the new version?

Do you already have a specific date to release it?

Right now, I've gotten the two bugs I know of fixed. I'm working on a config file to let users specify their own flags for any CVar they want; this should eliminate having to add in support for certain things.

After this next version is released, I'll be working on getting a version out with timeleft for SourceForts.

No set date yet... I'm still learning how to use KeyValues, so it might take a bit

Also, monkie, looking at your error again... It looks as though you're trying to run the sm_timeleft command, not the plugin. sm_timeleft doesn't exist. Are you sure that there's an error? If there is, could you post the error from your SM logs?

Unless there's some sort of function that would prepend sm_ to timeleft, it's not my plugin that's causing that.

Let me ask you something:

Why the timeleft doesn't work when there are no players in the server? It is a bug or you configured like that?
