Server Machine: Core 2 Quard 2.67 GHz, 8 Gb RAM DDR2
OS: Windows Server 2008 SP2 x64 (not R2)

SourceMod v1.3.1
Extension Socket v3.0.1
KAC v1.2.0.9

I've added server.cfg settings for KAC:



Installed kac and loaded the plugin:
] sm plugins load kigen-ac-pub
Kigen's Anti-Cheat has been loaded successfully.

Executed kac_status:



Regular online 16-24 players.
After 20-40 min server just crashing or stoping to reply
Last console messages:



Nothing in the KAC.log
Nothing wrong in sourcemod logs either.
It is last lines in sourcemod logs:



srcds.exe just stucking and there are no ways to shut it down but to restart the Windows...
What is a problem? And what can i do to fix it?

This problem is also exists in all beta versions of KAC 1.2.0.x
Game server not respondings after 20-120 min kac is being enabled
There was not any problems with kac 1.1.9 on sourcemod 1.2.x.

P.S.: Additional information. There are Bunnyhop, Public and Gungame servers running on same machines and they has the same problem. But all of the custom plugins are different on each server.

Are you using the latest versions of Counter-Strike Source and SourceMod?

It might be related to a SourceMod update, but it's still unconfirmed.

I haven't been able to find anything relating to KAC directly in regards to the crash. I'll keep looking to see if I can find the problem.

Frenzzy try to disable either mapchooser.smx or random_cycle.smx . Iam thinking double map change conflict something... why are you running both any way :)

So the freezes are from KAC... confirming I have the same issue as well rarely on Linux (Once a day, most of the time it's segmentation faults).

I haven't been able to find any thing to indicate it is KAC directly (as KAC shouldn't ever cause stuff like this).

Most likely it is a issue in SourceMod or another mod.

A plugin shouldn't be able to crash the server, unless there's a bad extension or a bug in SourceMod. In general, plugins doesn't directly cause segfaults.

As mentioned earlier, people suddenly started to report crashes even though we didn't change much and cannot reproduce the crashes ourself.

Not sure if its related to KAC but I have noticed a few crashes in the last few days. Nothing shows up in the server logs, just this segfault.
