* Is possibile to hardware ban cheaters to avoid then after they bought another steam account?

* There is a way to improve aimbot and antiwh effectivity?

Last week one guy with cheats (free one) come to our Smac protected server and he could use aimbot and see people even with anti_wallhack module on , Smac didn't caught him.

Smac on css was really Great but i feel that in cs go its not that effecttive , actually i Steel using it more for security protection (cmd block, spam connection, rcon secure) than for His main task caught Cheaters.

Imo aimbot doesn't work at all, newer aimbot / toggle programs can simply operate without affecting it, and I have seen it multiple times on my server.

As for a "hardware" ban... that sounds interesting. I'm not too confident that something like that currently exists in the api, though.

Hi for hardware ban i mean any possibile mode to identify and ban the computer of the banned person it could be hdd serial , Mac addres ban , dunno if Smac have access to this info, know other anticheats can make hardware bans.

It's not possible to get a players hardware info without an .exe program, thank god for that.

And no other method for marked that machine, like "hey. this pc was banned from here".
I mean some sm plugin can't writing a specific row into the clients cfg?

No, you can get a client's hardware info. As for writing a line to the client's config, that's called slowhacking and is not allowed here

Just stick with Steam ID and IP bans.

And block macadress is possible? IP ban is not that usefull most user have dynamic Ip, steam account is the most usefull ban at the moment but it looks like valve instead of making the game unfriendly to cheaters they make it more viable selling cs go at 5 dollars -.-.

Other thing is viable to make download from your server an lite .exec ac that communicate with smac? then the user that want to play on your server should start it , this is only for guarantee the fair play.

I say this because recently when I say that we have an anticheat people laugh, smac doesnot inspire respect as it did before, i'm trying to contribute with some ideas to improve it effectiveness

How it will be hacking if the client accept the conditions and they start it?
