after i'm using mapchooser extended, saysounds drops this error:

L 08/18/2013 - 02:49:14: [saysounds.smx] ConVar sm_mapvote_voteduration not found!

Any ideas how i fix this?

Failed to load sound "t4s-songs\stomp.mp3", file probably missing from disk/repository

I am suddenly getting this error every time I try and trigger the sound file AND any sound file.

I have installed the mp3s in custom\custom_sounds\sounds\t4s-songs
The files are mirrored on my fast download server
The files have been successfully downloaded from the server to my local HD.

I have also downloaded this version of the plugin: https://github.com/Gh0sty/SaysoundsHE

NFO support dont dont seem to have any idea on fixing these issues and cant help - they think its the plugin breaking it - but I think its steampipe and something to do with vpks as I've also had issues with models coming and going.

Anyone any ideas to help me?

NFO helped fix it by realizing that there a missing "/" as demonstrated in the examples used in the saysounds.cfg file

WRONG:

    "Abba"
    {
        "file"    "t4s-songs/abba.mp3"
    }

.
RIGHT:

"Abba"
    {
        "file"    "/t4s-songs/abba.mp3"
    }

And before you say anything ... fu I like Abba!

The directory must be named sound, not sounds.

I adden a New Sound, but hes Not Working.
All other sounds are Working.
I adden he Sound to my Sound Direktion and to my fastDL and in the
saysounds CFG:

Having an issue with no sound file being played. Just installed version 4.0.8 as well as Metamod and Sourcemod, both of which are working fine. Say Sound seems to load fine (no errors under meta list) but the issue is whenever I type in a word to say a sound all I hear is a click noise. In the chat box I get the correct response there of X played x sound, but the sound file itself is not heard. Is it possible I missed something in the cfg file or is there something in cvars I need to change? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I haven't used admin mods are plugin in years (last time was AdminMod with CS 1.6! back in like 2001-2002) so I'm basically new to all this (again)

BTW I am also running a Quake Sound plugin. Not sure if this would cause this issue but maybe?

EDIT: Well it seems the sounds play on other computer(s) on my LAN that are connected but not mine. I believe someone posted about this earlier on this thread. I'm going to search for it again but anyone know of a fix for this now? At least the plugin works! But it would be nice to hear the sounds on my computer when I type them in.

Candyman, when I tried using the Quake sound plugin along with saysounds, the saysounds plugin either didn't work or was glitchy....just a FYI
