The server crash after the 1st April update.
Latest SM snapshot and with latest tf2items build. (Windows)
When player get weapon with custom attribute the server crash. (TF2GiveWeapons)

Any solutions?

I run a VSH gamemode server, and ever since the first of april it has crashed whenever a round other than the deathmatch round starts.

Experience a crash when the server attempts to use TF2 items. (loads fine but crashes when giving a player an item, soft crash/map restarts players are disconnected)

    SourcePawn API: v1 = 4, v2 = 6


Tested all the other plugins seperately except for VSH which requires tf2items as a prereq and the server is stable.

VSH crashes when the announcer says 5, the warmup DM round works fine.

To confirm my problem was with tf2items not vsh i did the following:
I used Item Designer > https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=1353985
To create the following from the examples page for the program: sm_gi @me 18 1 50 8 0 0 tf_weapon_rocketlauncher "2 ; 100.0" "4 ; 91.0" "6 ; 0.25" "110 ; 500.0" "26 ; 250.0" "31 ; 10.0" "107 ; 3.0" "97 ; 0.4" "134 ; 4.0"

The Server instantly soft crashed.

I previously was using tf2items version: 1.6.0-263
I updated to version: 1.6.1-264
And recompiled it against sourcemod 1.7.0 (stable snapshot) got one warning about a deprecated authentication method(gj) but other than that it compiled properly and still failed to solve the problem.

Is the problem with the latest sourcemod snapshot or tf2items?

I can't do anything without a stack trace, preferably one from Accelerator/Throttle (see the big link in my signature), I just don't have time at the moment to go chasing down issues.

Resolved it, my provider updated their security and prevented me from uploading the .dlls in a way that left me thinking i'd done it (uploaded but reverted instead of failed to upload)

The new version works properly, sorry to be a bother and thanks again for a great plugin.
I'll setup accelerator so if i run into any other issues i can provide a better log for you o/

So for reference I looked through all crashes on Throttle that had crashed with an updated copy of TF2Items loaded. Of those 201 crashes, 4 of them had a TF2Items function on the stack at the time of crash. 3 of those were from the same server and caused by the same issue: The server ran out of edicts, and it was the item entity pushing it over the limit. The 1 remaining crash is potentially a legitimate issue and I'll be looking into it further, but is almost certainly user-error (such as specifying an invalid attribute index).

Hi, i have the same problem, and i have updated tf2items to 1.6.1 but it doesn't work, the server cannot see the plugins, and the build #264 is the only one in 1.6.1.
So is there a solution ?
