If u want more FPS on Windows, use
HLBooster ---> Lowers your ping!

Something to your hardware:

The CPU looks ok, with a little overclocking u would get more power.
I think u will need it. with HL Booster, it f*cks your cpu on 1000-2000 FPS My record was 23000 FPS ;) on a 2.2 Ghz Core Duo

But i think u need more RAM to be stable with 3 x 32 slots

U can count it: for 1 Slot u need ~ 30 MB Ram.
32 slots per server x 3 servers x 30 MB = 2880 MB

+ 50 -100 MB per server setup and mods

if u want bots on the server u may need even more Ram
(especially PodBot needs much resources (CPU and RAM))

Maybe enough Ram, I figured 3 full 32 slot servers but u will not get 3 servers with each 32 players on them.

Haven't done anything since my last post, I actually haven't been playing CS at all, focusing on other games. Now I have an idea for an awesome server mod, was about to post a new thread, but I remembered I already had this one.

So, 2 changes, first, forget the 3 servers, make that a single 32-slot server, but heavily modded. Second, I think I'm gonna go with a cheap used laptop, reason being that the battery of the laptop can play the role of uninteruptable power supply. So yeah, I'm thinking of just sticking it in a corner of the room and leaving it to host a CS1.6 server 24/7. I also want to add a small website about the server, hosted with Apache+MySQL, basically it will have a forum about the server, and also some data about the players, like a accolade table and a list of bans with reasons and stuff like that. I don't expect it to be getting much traffic, as I doubt the server will get too popular.

There is a huge selection of old used laptops with all kinds of specs, what specs/model should I be looking for? I'm guessing 2 cpu cores should be plenty, one for the CS server and the other for the OS and the website? I'd rather go with one with as low power consumption as possible, but it should be powerful enough to handle its task.

@God Of Gaming
Running a laptop for 24/7 is a bad idea
