Well, I really need to know if it's possible to set a BOT's SteamID, so other players won't notice it's a BOT

With "status" or "BOT active" you can see them.

I think players deserve to know if they are playing against real players or bots.

I don't think it's possible alien, I looked into it some time before on EventScripts and no one was able to come to a conclusion. You can change the ping, but as for changing the data the client receives from client commands, not so much.

Well, one good reason I can think of is to change the SourceTV bot into something that looks like a player, even though there isn't an actual bot that is running around trying to kill people. It would be supremely handy for recording demos on suspected cheaters automatically without setting off red flags that many cheat plugins use to disable themselves when an admin is investigating them.

The same reason I looked into it before Inflatable; people in this community automatically assume the worst case scenario unfortunately.

There isn't much reason to hide the fact that a player is a bot unless he's trying to do a more official looking "fake players" plugin.

For the method mentioned earlier to record cheaters, simply keep sourcetv on and always recording.
