    L4D Gore v2.2 by DiscoBBQ

    Description:
-Adds tons of blood to L4D; Be it Single-Player, Versus, or Co-Op!

    Installation:
-Place L4DGore.smx in your addons/sourcemod/plugins/ folder
-Place gore_config.txt in your addons/sourcemod/data/ folder

    Changelog:
    V2.3
-Low-HP Bleeding is now significantly less, as in amount and run time.
-Low-HP Bleeding will no loner occur on dead players.

    V2.2
-Many new blood particles added for melee, infected player, infected npc, and survivors.
-Blood particles and gore now parent (attach) to the model

    V2.1.2
-Thanks entirely to Tesla-X4, this version no longer creates lag on the first zombie being shot.

    V2.1.1
-Bug fixed that prevented some headshots to be shown.

    V2.1.0
-Headshot animations can now be achieved with all weapons
-Configurable configuration file added to fine tune the level of gore
-Tissue gibs will now project from zombies being melee'd
-More variety of blood and gore
-Compatible with the latest stable builds of sourcemod.

    V2.0.2
    -Console spam fixed

    V2.0.1
    -Fixed server crashing
*Explanation: Source servers can only hold ~2000 entities before it runs out of free edicts and crashes. It was not deleting the blood enities and crashing after about 1000 squirts of blood.

    V2.0
-Version 1.* was scrapped, this new version has much more realistic blood, alot more, and less expense of FPS. (Full load on the tank dropped me by ~2.5% FPS).
-Everyone can see the blood now
-Uses the particle system instead of sprites
-It randomizes from a few selections of blood, be it gibs of tissue and muscle, or sprays of blood.

Looks great but I found this under Counter Strike Source. Shouldn't it be posted under Left 4 Dead rather than CSS?

    More blood. Less FPS. Why?

Yeah I dont see the point either. Good effort but id have to be an idiot to load a plugin on my servers that subtracts FPS and makes the game laggier. Just my humble opinion...

Im glad theres people coding for this game though now. Cant wait to see what crazy plugins people come up with. I may even make one myself.

Nice, but it makes a massive blood trail when tanks get set on fire. Also, sometimes it makes a large, horizontal spray perpendicular to your shot, which can obscure the view (hard to get a picture of).

I'm not sure about the fps drop, I tried to strain my gpu and I couldn't see a noticable drop.

As for the tank I'll correct that, and fix the horizontal spray.

I'll try to optimize for fps as well.

I'm gonna add some gibbing too, ribs and etc.

It really has nothing to do with your plugin. The general nature of adding gore/blood/gibs etc into multiplayer environment always means a drop in fps. Thats all. I personally rather have an optimized environment.
