I'm pretty sure that getting your problem fixed without giving more information doesn't work either.

Hi

Im sorry to ask, but i dont quite understand how this updater works.
I got the updater.smx plugin the plugins folder.

I've started my csgo server with warmod plugin installed. I run the command sm_updater_status:
Plugins being monitored for updates:
[0] updater.smx
[1] warmod.smx
Last update check was 0.0 minutes ago.
[Updater] --- Status End ---

I want to update the warmod.smx, so guess this is good?
Then try to run sm_updater_check and i get following message:
[Updater] Updates can only be checked once per hour. 60.0 minutes remaining.

Is it running now, or what is happening?

Guess this is quite a stupid question, but would love some help

Thanks

It automatically checks for and installs updates. You don't need to do anything.

This is true of every plugin that is in your sourcemod/plugins folder. They all start automatically on server boot or map change, with the exception of plugins located in the disabled/ or optional/ subfolders.

You're not using an official Updater file, you're using mine. Read the documentation at the top.

It worked after deleting mckayupdater.sp and adding the updater's official sources. Was that mckayupdater.sp for server auto update?

mckayupdater.inc is a custom include written by Dr. McKay that makes it a bit easier to make your plugin Updater-compatible. When using mckayupdater, you must specify several things, such as defining the plugin's version in PLUGIN_VERSION.

When using that custom include, you must be sure to follow the directions in that custom include.
