Hi guys, i'm not sure if there any other server owners experiencing this issue with the knockback on zr. No matter how much you turn up the knockback or editing the hitgroups or the weapon.txt. If the zombies keep jumping while you are shooting at them, you can't knock them back.

Like when zombies bouncing, you can't knock them back, even if you turn up the knockback in the playerclasses,hitgroups or weapon.txt files, still can't push the zombies back.

Richard can you plz take a look at this. Its very hard to win on escape maps,specially when there is crouching spots. Zombies can get to any spot .All they have to do is keep jumping and no one can knock them back.

I also tried zr_hitgroups 0 with absolutely no luck.

This doesn't sound like normal behavior. Although repeated jumping in small areas like pipes and vents reduce knock back, it shouldn't eliminate it. Does it only happen in small places?

Otherwise I don't know.

Indeed, its harder to push them back when they are inside tubes, but its enough for zombies to keep jumping, and it doesn't matter where they are even if its 6 players are shooting at the zombie its almost impossible to push them back.

Hope you can do something in next release. As you know steam changed alot in css like the recoil, accuracy knockback etc. Maybe a little tweak needed

If there's less recoil they may be more precise and hit the head more often, but that results in more knock back. How high values did you try?

Also keep in mind that knock back in weapons and hit groups are multipliers and not offsets. If you set 0.5 on the chest multiplier it will result in half the knock back. They are quite sensitive.

Since you disabled hit groups, those multipliers must be ok, but what about weapon multipliers? Which values do you actually use?
