Hey, I've read a lot of tutorials, and read the .txt helping file aswell, but I have a problem

For instance:

I put "Valve\HLDS" on "C:"

So I put on cmd:

cd "C:\Valve\HLDS", The directory changes to the specified one,

then I enter the correct terms in the cmd:

hldsupdatetool.exe -command update -game cstrike -dir "C:\Valve\HLDS"

The system asks permission to execute the program, it downloads something pretty quick, then it finnishes.
I start the HLDS

Type status on the console

version : 48/1.0.0.3/2.0.1941.239 5758 insecure (secure mode enabled, connected to Steam3) (80) tcp/ip : 192.168.1.71:27015 map : de_dust_cz at: 0 x, 0 y, 0 z players : 0 active (32 max) # name userid uniqueid frag time ping loss adr 0 users VAC secure mode is activated.

It said on the console that it was getting VERSION 50, and I don't think that 5758 is the last build, so can someone tell me what's wrong, or maybe coordinate me , by teamviewer ?

hldsupdatetool is outdated. They moved to SteamCMD.

I thought SteamCMD wasn't used to make HLDS.

So, I can follow sami_spt's guidethrough, right ?

SteamCMD is the new way to download HLDS and SRCDS, https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/SteamCMD

Personally, I would stick with the official guides, especially since that guide is ONLY for CS1.6 and HLDM, and it doesn't take into known bugs with SteamCMD, and it doesn't account for Linux users
