Hey,

I'm looking for someone for creating the following:

My plan is to create some L4D plugin that awards points to player/steamids for finishing maps. As a result there should be a (global) rating for players from played maps and finished maps. Basically the main idea behind this is to prevent ragequits. Players should be awarded points for joining and finishing a map, more points for playing and finishing more maps in a row. So playing chapter 1-5 gives most points. (this should prevent giving too many points to players that join during the finale). If anyone wants to contribute i'd be really glad. I think this might actually work out. Feel free to comment and do some brainstorming in here.

i think as long as rating = (played/disconnected) and ppl tend to play more often the disconnects are a factor you gotta live with. the more you play the less this will influece the rating (imho). other choice would be to let users on the server decide wether it was raged or disconnected. this is quite vague tho ;)

*edit*

we could also wait to rate ppl until they played a certain amount of maps. dunno
