Plugin in original post updated to version 1.18 which adds feature requested by Goldenwater.

This version adds a new console variable:
sm_gimme_chat_notice_enabled 1 - (default) Prints notice in chat when item is received.
sm_gimme_chat_notice_enabled 0 - Does not print notice in chat when item is received.

By default a chat message is sent to a player when you give them an item. If you don't want a message printed when items are received by players then type this into the server console (or add it to your server.cfg):

Thank you! i appreciate it! Though, I think I might have found a few bugs while messing around with the plugin.

When i give players a flamethrower, the ammo doesn't update at all, and I don't think it's the server because when I use a flamethrower without the gimme command, updates just fine.

With the minigun, I'm unable to pick up ammo at all, and when it runs out, I'm still able to switch back and forth from other weapons and still "fire" the empty gun even though no bullets come out. without gimme works perfectly normal

New version fixes bug with incorrect ammunition behavior for Flamethrowers, Miniguns, The Shortstop, Pretty boy's pocket pistol, The Winger, Sandman, and Wrap assassin.

The problem isn't with the Gimme plugin. The problem is that you don't have the TF2 Attributes plugin running.

Most likely causes:
1. TF2 Attributes is not installed.
2. If it is installed, your tf2.attributes.txt gamedata file is out of date and needs to be replaced.

If you are sure that you installed TF2 Attributes and it isn't working, update your gamedata. Here's a link to to a current file: https://github.com/FlaminSarge/tf2attributes/releases . Download the tf2.attributes.txt file and put it in your /sourcemod/gamedata/ folder. Change map and see if everything loaded okay.

Got it working,

Slay flag / with steamgroup admins fun future....

No with !gimmep it sticks until i leave the server and come back in it. Then i ll need to put in the correct commands once again.

Thought it would load up when you join the server again automaticly. Still great peace of a plugin.

1.17 - 27Jan2023: !gimmep no longer removes equipped cosmetics when touching locker

I still get the remove when a locker is touched, and 1 second later the skin pops up wich i had pickked with gimmep.

Odd.. What command are you using to equip the cosmetic? What indexes are you using?

Examples:
!gimme 18 - will give player a rocket launcher weapon
!gimme 666 - will give player the B.M.O.C. (santa hat) cosmetic
