I tried to modify the settings for the cvars in the adminsounds.cfg
So the admin sound menu would reprint/stay up.

It's not working, any ideas?

// Enable the possibility to reprint the menu after each sound.
// Default: "0"
// Minimum: "0.000000"
// Maximum: "1.000000"
sm_admin_sounds_menureprint "1.000000"

Look at your error log. You'll see that the menu reprint functionnality is bugged.

We're all waiting for a new version solving this issue

Hey guys i was wondering if you could use a url to play the sound?

I know how to stream music from my ftp server to the motd, but thats not what i want. Can we use a url in this plugin and it will play from the ftp server?

This is from my soundlist as a example
"Playing With Danger"
{
"file" "ui/gamestartup2.mp3"
"delay" "242"

Is there a way to replace this line with
"file" "ui/gamestartup2.mp3"
"url" "http://blablabla.com/sound/test.mp3"

Is this possible?

This is how it goes in the motd

No problem and thanks for your plugin. It's great !

Some suggestions:
- You could delete the fileexist check at line 433. This way we do not have to add the sound on the srcds server but only on webserver.
- You could extend menu max time at line 128.
- You should change the preload to true on line 733. This way new sounds are playable just after download.
stock boolrepareSound(const String:sound[], bool:preload=true)

yes it works in l4d ...but u can only play the sounds they came with the game NOT any imported songs ...so i have in the list phrases they'r not so common and those u cannot vocalize as zoey- oh no zombies killed god,francis- funny humming song,bills- mother humper ,louis -when things go back to normal,zoey ,bill i'm giving u both jobs,francis i'm gonna teach your ass how to read etc..

idk if Mr. Cadav0r will read this ,since on the first post it says noone made request i would like to make one..
would it be possible to add cvar for clients so they can play sounds too,
maybe with ammount of sounds they can play per map ...
i know you already answered that saying this one is for admins try say sound and i did, ,i tryed sasysound the new saysound and none of these worked for l4d (or i'm just dumb and don't know how to make them work)
this plugin is awesome and it seems to me the only one that works for l4d

Sorry for L4D but i haven't this game so I can't test my plugin.

For your request, I'm sorry but my plugin is only for admin as I said before.
See with Saysound plugin developper.
