I can here still the sounds. It will stop the sound in the "playtime" so i hear it. Still not working.
Maybe volume 0 in your source and not stopsound. maybe a try?

StopSound, works i cant set a client's specific sound volume to 0.

Updated to 1.2.0:
Turns out that cs:go has a gamesound 'Music.StopAllMusic' sound that cancels out every game sound. I actually want to thank powerlord for giving me the idea to check game_sounds. The gamesound i use was in the game_sound_music2.txt file. i found it and sure enough it was an short and easy fix. Seems to work with no issues. Plus since i dont need to call a function MAXPLAYERS*10*6 times it shouldnt lag or cause any issues!

Still not working, Remove "works" and test it before you upload. It cuts off the sounds, so i still hear the sound every round and bam it stops after playing 1sec! Thats not better.

Before assuming that i didn't test it try giving a better explanation of 'not working'.
How else did you think i found out how to stop the sounds? i guessed and checked. when it worked i tried it 15 times, via killing self to end the round and endround/mp_restartgame. it works for me. Like i said above ADD me so i can see your issue on your server.

I hope you know theres no real way of canceling the sound because i cant hook it; but on the other hand i have noticed that it doesn't play on my side anymore. Your 'explantion' wont cut it for me. 'It cuts off the sounds' So it does work? Your contradicting your self.
The only thing that im probably doing different is that im not spawning during mid round; i would have to setup my server differently but i will try that and see if it plays those sounds.

Heres what this plugin does:
on round_prestart (called 0.1 seconds after the sound is played to the clients) it calls playgamesound on all clients; that will stop all the music on the clients game.
This includes all of the valve_csgo_01/02 folders in the music folder.
