Well, actually there are many mentions about this issue. By the way, the plugin is working correctly without any error, the problem is this feature, when I use the say command "recentmaps" it doesn't show up anything.

However, it's working in "new game" but it's not working in the server

So there are two issues, yes? There's that banning recent maps doesn't work as advertised and separately, the recentmaps command does not work?

As an aside, "new game" is commonly referred to as a listen server.

Can you go into your server's console and type "amxx cvars"? After, paste the ones from Galileo (they're bunched together) into a comment here or in a PM?

Oh, and on your server(s) where the recentmaps command is not working, check to see if there's a file named "recentmaps.dat" in the AMXX data folder. If it's there and you want to look at it, it's just a text file.

I sent you the cvars. Check like there is gal_banrecent 3 but I changed it days ago to 5 in amxx.cfg and galileo.cfg

By the way, yes, there is a file with that name.

EDIT: Yes, 2 issues. ban recent and the say (recentmaps) command.

Is it a 0-byte file, or are there actual maps listed in it? If it's 0-byte, confirm that the file permissions for it are R/W.

Actually it's 45 bytes with R/W permissions.

Yes, but are there maps listed in it? Look at the contents. Change the map on your server. Look at the contents again. Does it appear as if the maps are being put in there? How many maps are in there?

If it contains map names, that rules out any sort of writing issues, which is good. I'm curious about the number of maps because of the discrepancy between what you indicated you have in the CFG files and what is reported from AMXX CVARS.

When you type, "recentmaps", does it display, "Recent Maps:", with no maps listed after? If not, what does it display?

Ok, it's showing 5 maps, I changed the map and it updating correctly. I think my cvar is working right but I don't know why it shows gal_banrecent 3 when I use amxx cvars. Anyway, the dat file is working right.

However the recentmaps command is not working, it's not showing anything.

I can confirm that recentmaps command works just as it is intended to, but as Brad has stated. The ban recent check only check's nominations, but in case there aren't any nominations. The feature becomes redundant. There could be another explaination for your error.

The most common reason for this would be usage of ichat plugin.

https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=173113

That plugin will stop recentmaps feature from galileo. I would suggest you to try galileo on a vanilla amxmodx setup. I also found this.

recent maps system work, i can't nominate recent maps.

But the client cmd seems to be broken somewhere.

Note that i use iChat. (who is loaded after galileo ofc.

Ok, i get it, iChat is not compatible with registrer_clcmd called outside of plugin_init
