You can either recompile the steamid version with Asherkin's fix from https://forums.alliedmods.net/showpo...postcount=1497.

Or you can use the version that I posted here: https://forums.alliedmods.net/showpo...postcount=1499.

My version is so that you can equip full bodied models. It needs cleaning up of the code but it works.

DOH! I fixed it.. for some reason the vdf file to load the meta attachables wasn't in the directory..

What would I need to do to convert this download to make it compatible with Equipment Manager?

I changed the folder names to not be 'replacing' and hex edited the files with the new paths.. but it didn't work; it just showed the big red ERROR sign.

You could follow the models porting tutorial by Zuko that i edited: https://forums.alliedmods.net/showpo...postcount=1283

Hexing models is the best way to do it but it helps to know that tutorial for the other steps.

You have to make sure to add a .dep file. Watch closely if the files download once you connect to the server. You can also use SDK tools model viewer to test the model before putting it on the server.

I tried to search but I didn't find anything. I had a demo man wearing the dreadlocks and glasses hat. When a spy disguised as him, the spy wasn't wearing the hat.

hey i put these in my server.cfg:

yet non admins can still use the equipment and it still announces...can anyone help me on this?

that is just how it is with hats so you wont be seeing hats when you disquise as someone

@danmon: You have to edit the cfg file that the plugin creates. Putting it in your server.cfg is just getting overwritten as the other cfg fires after server.cfg

There's an issue now with this plugin (and any other plugin that adds custom models). If you have a large number of models (like 30 or so), you risk filling up your model precache table's max of 1024, which crashes the server. I have about 35 models, and also have tf_birthday on, so maps like cp_steel (which has a lot of custom content like brush entities) will crash the server. Unfortunately, there is no real fix for this issue except to disable the plugin and/or birthday on certain maps. Eventually this problem will become real for Valve on vanilla servers as long as they keep adding items in, and will more than likely be fixed then. Just a heads up.
