Ya, I must say that is an annoying feature. And it'd be nice to have it not do that. But tleast the plugin works.

Hello I have a server with SuperVerus, Left 4 Downtown ext, l4d2infectedbot and this plugin (Remove Lobby Reservation) which all work great. What I would like to know is if you start a lobby is the only way for people to connect to the server by opening console and typing connect <ip:port> or can they join by invite, by clicking on groupserver, clicking on a friend that is in the game or by using console and typing openserverbrowser.

I'm running a 16 slot dedicated server on Linux, and absolutely can't get more than 8 players in there. I've installed SuperVersus, Left 4 Downtown, the Unreserve Lobby plugin, and Left4DToolz, none of which help. End result: every time lobby gets to 8, I get a slew of messages saying "a full lobby has connected, removing reservation from server," and still no one can connect even from the steam friends menu.

Cuthbert, did you pay for the extra slots to your game server provider?

Type "status" in the server console (or rcon status if you do it from client console) and paste the info here.

If you have l4downtown installed and a simple unreserve game plugin you should be just fine.

This is the plugin with that annoying message removed, the previous posted version were not working.

Ok, I updated the plugin to remove the message. Please don't post SMX on these forums without the source code.

Yeah, I did purchase an additional 8 slots from Gameservers before I tried this. I had them do a full wipe of the server files in case any other plugins are interfering, will try tonight.
