Hello!
I cannot connect to my own CS:GO server since the new CS2 update dropped. I get "Connecting to server" and then get kicked out back to the main menu.
I get no errors in the client console and no important/new ones in the server console either. Neither me nor my friends can connect. I can connect to other servers but not mine, I have tried deleting all the plugins and even downloading it and trying to connect while hosting it locally.

I do not yet endorse this solution but it is there to use at your own risk.

I would like to know more about this problem, I'm surprised by how few posts there have been about it so far.

If anyone can explain these segments I'd be a bit more comfortable.

Can't even find docs on things like `IsExclusiveToLobbyConnections`. Any help would be appreciated, (I'm a dev so even just docs would be a massive help)

The weird stuff is that i completly wiped the server and started it all over again,and guess what?I still cannot connect.

Server was stuck updating, and after installing this plugin it seemed to not matter
anymore.

Everything worked fine before the february update. Any ideas?

EDIT: Okay, I used the forked version by eldoradoel and it works. However, does anyone know what is plugin actually does? Is it safe?

From what I can tell, it's not malicious. However, it seems like it's bypassing the server challenge, which was put in place to prevent third parties from using your server to attack someone by Denial of Service (it was something about sending packets with fake IPs, so you answer back with a lot of infos and end up spamming their network, or something along those lines, I suck at networking and all that stuff).

The csgo legacy update might have broken this server challenge that prevented DoS, so this plugin seems to bypass it to let players connect. Note that this most likely isn't critical for your server; and there's no other way to do it anyway, so yea

Feel free to correct me. My knowledge on this subject is very limited.
