Not sure with windows VPS, but most likely windows firewall is enabled by default

On linux it might differ per distro, but yeah mostly firewall enabled and you need to port forward

Or some hostings provide firewall in their control panel, might be easier to set it up there and disable firewall on the actual server (ufw/windows firewall)

But to keep all ports open is not secure, which is why they need to be configured

Doesn't seem to work at all. Trying to use this with Team Fortress Classic, and the server.exe linked in the OP post doesn't even work, it closes itself immediately, even after renaming the config like it says. It also has no option to define the channel or webhook the bot sends to, so there's no way to tell if it would even work because it wouldn't know where to broadcast to. Why?

A shame because this is the only AMXX relay to Discord plugin I can find.

Compile the AMXX plugin yourself.

You are supposed to use command line to execute server.exe, it closes itself immediately means you tried double-clicking on it instead of using the command line.

Please read the documentation for channel configuration commands; this does not use webhook.

Everything you need to set this up is in the documentation.

I can't seem to get the server to work properly. It turns on and responds to DMs, but doesn't respond to server messages.

In my Sourcemods logs i have this error, which I see you previously stated means the server cant be running with the server files.. Does that mean a completely separate server is needed for this to work?

Everything was done follow in the documentation, but where to set the discord channel to make it work? I dont understand at the Connecting section, where can be enter bot commands? r/entities and etc.

Ok just found out the bot command was enter by private msg the bot, but I got this error when trying to use r/entities, r/receivechannel, r/sendchannel

You don't private message the bot; you use it in a guild channel.
