I just installed the latest version of this mod and it works when I start the server. All the fake clients come in with names etc etc.

For some reason, when the map rotates, the fakeclients rename themselves to "fakeclient"

Any reason for this? This is on linux.

Solution could be :

execute the fakeclient.cfg in server.cfg

Yes...I had it setup that way.

exec fakeclients.cfg is in the server.cfg

Lduke with the latest release of CTF 1.7 the servers force autoteam balance. When the fakeclients load they actually spawn. Any way around this from the plugin side of things?

I don't think so. If they don't allow clients to be in spectator mode, they won't allow FakeClients to do so either.

All working great

FC working great too except that when players join at the same time as the fake clients join they get named as "Unconnected" until they rejoin the server.

Any ideas?

Never heard of a problem like that. I can't imagine how it could be FakeClients causing that. Does it happen if FakeClients is unloaded or set to 0 fakes?[/list]

Hi and thanks for replying, I appreciate it.

No mate it doesn't happen without the plug-in lis NOT oaded and it doesn't happen consiatantly. Sorry.

I love this plug-in though it has already helped my server get traffic. Thank You.

Also while I'm here, I don't know if you are familiar with Event scripts? I have written a few scripts that are quite well used.

One of them "Ace Rates" uses es_isbot to make sure that bots are not checked.

However, all the fake clients get checked as if they are human. LOL. Just thought you may like to know.

Hi,
first of all i want to apologize myself for my english. I'm from germany and my english lessons are quite long ago. Hopefully you get what I mean.

FC caused serverrestarts coincidentally. I don't know why. I don't get any errormessages at the serverlog. It's is rented gameserver so I don't have full access to get the servermessage why the server restart.
Tried to talk to our gameserverhoster but they always say that this are bots and they are forbidden. Today I received a diffrent answer.

I change the Steambans plugin from version 1.1 back to 1.0. This helps a little bit. Before that change the server crashed everytime a fakeclient connected.
