I need a way to manage the 4 servers I run on my Windows dedicated. Right now i'm using Serverdoc which automatically reboots SRCDS if it crashes or if the server itself restarts, it's good but it's bulky and also keeps asking me to upgrade all the time which is a pain.

Are there any other good tools out there that I can use to monitor SRCDS and have it start it again if it crashes?

I like just using a batch file that executes srcds again if the process is terminated. It doesn't work if srcds hangs without crashing, though, which does happen sometimes.

You also need to disable error reporting if you use a batch file.

Yea I guess a batch would be the easiest method. My SRCDS do have a bad habbit of freezing though, which is becoming a pain.

I use this: http://www.dumbclan.co.uk/downloads/serverchecker/

Works great on my windows box. I'm currently running 3 servers with it. Also it checks if the server "hangs"

Tried it but didn't seem to work much. Just restarts the servers even if they are online.

You have to run it under a user account always, so you can never log out. Works fine for me, I've never had an issue with it.

Could be an OS issue? I'm on Windows 2003 x64

That program works for the most part but it has A LOT of issues to it least for me. (IE Restarting randomly, multiple instances of the same server, crashes, no restarts at all, etc)

I use a commercial product call FireDaemon Pro
It will run any 32-bit or 64-bit application as a Windows service

Years ago this is also what I used, and would strongly recommend it. However, on our Shared Hosting Machines we use RunAsSvc for our Teamspeak Master Servers. Basically this does exactly what it says, and runs them as a Windows Service.

You might want to give this a try as well...
