Thanks for the heads up. I wonder what framerate the servers will run at after this update.

My guess would be whatever it runs at by default without any sort of fps booster service running. It has been a while but I think it is about 66 fps (not to be confused with the tickrate)

Time to go let a bunch of customers know there servers are about to get considerably cheaper, and probably less enjoyable to play on.

so does this mean the update will improve fps by alot? Could use that on my surf dm server

True, I forgot about that. On Windows unless Windows Media Player or some type of timing service tool is running, the servers run at 66FPS I believe.
