I haven't done any looking into this, I just ran into it a few minutes ago.

I'll be doing some troubleshooting to see if it's something on my end, but in the meantime I was wondering if you have any known issues with nm_respawn 1 crashing a server.

I'll keep you posted with anything I find as far as what might be causing it.

Let me know if there's anything you need me to do to help figure this out.

Thanks,

-Faaip

...I also have nm_kill_losing_team "1", when I usually have it off.

Changing nm_kill_losing_team to 0 doesn't help the crashing.

Thus far the crashes seem random. Once during a map change, once about 10 seconds after round restart, once right in the middle of the round, etc.

Anybody else ever used this mode?

Going over the logs shows just how random the crashing is. I'm sure it's caused by one thing or one combination of things, but it's nothing that shows up in the logfile (even with the log at its most verbose setting).

I have my respawn time at 20 seconds.

Just for shits and giggles, I unloaded every other plugin on the server and gave it a restart to see if it would still crash, and it did. It never runs for less than 10 minutes or so, but will never make it past 25-30 minutes.

Sorry I can't help more with this.

I have been running the new version with autorespawn and kill losing team on and about 20 bots and real players that randomly join for a few hours now without any crashes.

By "new version", do you mean v0.2.5? Or is this the version you're currently working on?

The server I'm running has 32 player slots. It fills pretty quickly at any given time during the day, but I didn't see any correlation between the number of players in the server and the crashing (one time it crashed with 10, one time with 31, another with 19, etc).

Then there is hope!

I'm just putting off the themed day until next Wednesday, I'll let the regs know it's being worked on...

...they already worship the ground you walk on (vicariously through me) for the other things that have been made available via your mod.

Let me know if you want that documentation (posted in the new sticky).

Yes, any help with documentation is great. I might set a little something(wiki) up, though.
