Here are the /bin and /left4dead2/bin files from 2.1.4.0 you requested:

I have never used mega.nz before so let me know if I didn't do this right.

Looks like you didnt look at the console log or the previous replies. Left 4 dead 2 tries to find steamclient.so in ~/.steam/sdk32/ I dont really remember why, but there was an explanation somewhere else on either alliedmodders or steam groups. Anyways, you should just copy or symbolically link your steamclient.so from the bin folder there. There was absolutely no need to ask people for posting it. Still, this steamclient.so is irrelevant to the crashes. It only fixes some potential auto update and auto restart problems.

I am still looking for a way to confuse l4d2 into thinking that it is updated when its really not. If someone finds an answer please tell me.

What makes you think that steamclient.so is irrelevant to the crashes? What is it then? I think you reffering to the posts that are like 2-3 yeards old? This is recent thing, and it only started happening since the latest update came out.
PHP Code:
Nov 14 02:40:06 ns318852 kernelsrcds_linux[15683]: segfault at fffffff5 ip 00000000e0bbad49 sp 00000000d38052b0 error 5 in steamclient.so[e01b8000+1136000

okay epzminion binaries are source engine build 6156 and still crashes there is nothing in the logs that indicate why it crashes nither has accelerator altho there binaries have fixed my level transision bugger where when the level changes it spawns you in the wrong place or outside of the map it has not fixed the crash issue ill still be testing other builds to try and locate the problem with accelerator
happy hunting xD

I did not find a steam.inf file though, but I still think that it is possible to somehow fool Stea, to think that l4d2 is updated when actually its not. If anyone knows how to do that on a linux machine - post it here please.
Steam.inf
the folder its located in
/left4dead2/left4dead2/
if your using cmdline either use nano or wordleaf
/left4dead2/left4dead2/steam.inf

like "sudo nano .../left4dead/left4dead2/steam.inf

sudo well just makes it easier

then just change the version from 2.1.4.0>2.1.4.1

then you fooled steam
