Just deleting this section:
PHP Code:
            "CalcCriticalKnife"

{

"library"        "server"
                "linux"        "@_ZN8CTFKnife26CalcIsAttackCriticalHelperEv"
                "windows"    "\x33\xC0\x83\xB9\x08\x13\x00\x00\x01\x0F\x94\xC0\xC3"

Fixes the problem with the spy crashing Linux servers?

This has been disabled/fixed with the autoupdater, so restarting your server (you may need to restart it after the updater completes - check your logs) will fix it.

Otherwise open sourcemod/gamedata/sm-tf2.games.txt and delete the CalcCritKnife section and restart.
So far that has worked, grabbed a spy, and I sat there and backstabbed and sliced a few people on my server with no hiccups whatsoever!

Thank You

For whatever reason, my server is getting an error while updating gamedata files:
Couldn't connect to smupdate.alliedmods.net: Connection refused

Add "-debug" to the ./srcds_run command line to generate a debug.log
to help with solving this problem
haven't tried pl_ maps without SM, tho... someone could confirm if this is a SM issue

i get crashes with and without SM. if you read the HLDS mailing list.. there are tons of people getting crashes on vanilla version's of the server.. windows/linux. i dont think its just a problem on the modding side.. but valve probably released a buggy server client or something

We've just blocked the spy using the class restrictions plugin, not had a crash since.

this autoupdater in sm is not working.
I had to edit it by hand

My core.cfg

Code:
	/**
	 * Enables or Disables SourceMod's automatic gamedata updating.
	 *
	 * The default value is "no". A value of "yes" will block the Auto Updater.
	 */
	"DisableAutoUpdate"			"no"

	/**
	 * If set to yes, a successful gamedata update will attempt to restart SourceMod.
	 * SourceMod is unloaded and reloaded, and the map is changed to the current map.
	 * Since gamedata updates occur when the server loads, impact should be minimal.
	 * But to be safe, this option is disabled by default.
	 */
	"ForceRestartAfterUpdate"	"no"

	/**
	 * Sets the server to connect to for auotmatic gamedata updates.
	 */
	"AutoUpdateServer"			"smupdate.alliedmods.net"

	/**
	 * Sets the port to connect to on the AutoUpdateServer server
	 */
	"AutoUpdatePort"			"6500"

	/**
	 * Whether to show debug spew.
	 * Currently this will log details about the gamedata updating process.
	 */
	"DebugSpew"
So why autoupdate is not working?
How can i check it?
