Description

Advanced Chat is meant to add communication control features. I honestly couldn't think of a better name. I have more planned for this plugin, but for now it provides the ability to gag a player's text chat, and mute their voice comm. A third command does both at once.

In addition, the plugin includes deadtalk. When active, dead players will be set to hear everyone in the server.

Installation

1. Place the advancedchat.smx file inside of the addons/sourcemod/plugins/ folder.
2. Place the plugins.advancedchat.txt file inside of the addons/sourcemod/translations/ folder.

Commands

• sm_mute <player>
  • Takes away voice comm
• sm_gag <player>
  • Takes away text chat
• sm_silence <player>
  • Does both mute and gag
• sm_unmute <player>
  • Gives voicecomm back
• sm_ungag <player>
  • Gives text chat back
• sm_unsilence
  • Gives both voice and chat back

Cvars

• sm_deadtalk [0/1]
  • Turns on deadtalk
  • Default is off
