Currently we're running AMX0.9.8a which fits good under SuSE9.0. I think, our clan will not upgrade again to any other version. Such things will only happen to our new CS:S servers, a.s.a.p. they get some MODs from the SDK & community.

Fedora Core (2.6.9-1.6_FC2)
Fedora Core (2.6.9-1.3_FC2)
Fedora Core (2.6.8-1.521)
Fedora Core (2.6.5-1.35

Those kernels are all running smooth on amxmodx 1.0 with meta 1.17.3. Other then a memory leak I can't track down since I updated to amxmodx 1.0 it has been running like a champ for me.

i'm running fc2 2.6.8-1.521smp on one machine, i'll try that with amxx again. maybe it's just fc3.

if i have no luck with that i'll change them all over to suse 9.1 which seems to be stable for me.

I've now reinstalled the box - it's now running SuSE 9.1 with kernel 2.6.5 - no segfaults until now!

I don't know why you would be getting seg faults. Only thing I could think of would be maybe not enough memory but thats a complete guess. When 1.0 came out it fixed all my problems except the memory leak now that I just can't explain.

First this has been a SuSE 9.0 server, but because of these messages I switched to Debian Sarge. But same problem there. I get the same messages with AMXX 0.16 so I don't think the JIT causes the problems. Maybe a hardware specific problem? Or a special shared object? I'd like to test a version where all needed libraries are compiled into the .so if possible
Same here, Debian Sarge (Glibc 2.3).
If players are in, server crashes randomly with segfault nearly every 5 minutes.

It seems to be related with loaded CSX Module. I disabled it, and no crashes yet.
