I am having about 10 percent of my servers randomly crashing each day. I get no error messages in any log. I only get a generic dump message in the linux screen. The server stays down and does not restart.

Here are the plugins and extensions I employ:

I have no idea where these two messages are coming from since I have never installed either of these extensions:

[13] <FAILED> file "smrcon.ext.so": /home/pro/valve/orangebox/tf/addons/sourcemod
[16] <FAILED> file "connect.ext.so": /home/pro/valve/orangebox/tf/addons/sourcemod/extensions/connect.ext.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I am new to linux. Most of my configs and plugins were originally installed on a Windows server. I reinstalled sourcemod, metamod and all extensions from scratch. Is there something else I need to do for linux? Is anyone else having these issues? Has anyone isolated one of these plugins as the problem?

They are probably needed by other plugins, get SM Rcon here and the Connect extension here.

I added the one for SM rcon. I am not sure what needs the Connect Extension since I am using Cbase.

Irregardless, I have removed both of those before so I don't suspect that is the cause of my crashes.

The connect extension is optional for the "Client Protection" SMAC Module.

This module also has support for the Connect extension to block advanced spam attacks on newer source games.
But as mentioned in another post:

Thanks for clearing that up. I appreciate the information.

Now if I can just find out what causes random crashes in Linux. I have servers that run fine for hours sometimes days but then just stop completely and don't recover.

You can install gdb on your server and run srcds with "-debug", this will create a debug.log file with debug informations in the mod directory.

Ok, I installed it and will be hoping for some useful errors to get rid of this issue. Thanks so much.

I installed gdb and added -debug but I do no see a debug.log anywhere. Where should it be specifically?

My command line:
screen -A -m -d -S valve ./srcds_run -game tf -ip 66.150.164.207 +maxplayers 32 -port 27015 -debug -nohltv +servercfgfile seattle_valve.cfg +map cp_dustbowl

Gdb definitely installed:
gdb is already the newest version.
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.

Should be in "/your/server/directory/orangebox".
Did your server crash?
