I have recently starting playing CS:GO with my kids and the Danger Zone maps have pique my interest, but the default spawn points are pretty terrible. I recall a way to edit map entities en-mass and per-map but it's been over a decade so for the life of me, I can't remember it.

Basically I'd like to load the default maps, like dz_blacksite, etc as deathmatch (or anything really) and the spawn points will get scattered to predetermined locations according to a dz_blacksite.something file.

Any suggestions/clues?

I haven't used it in a long while so not sure if there is a current working CSGO version.

That works well enough for my purpose. Was not looking forward to writing my own.

Thanks a lot!

Did you mean to say after 20 years!! ?

I haven't seen many Join Dates older than mine..

I hacked my first spawn point in 2001-2002? for CS to run POD bot servers.
(ented.exe from zoner's HL tools.)
CS / CZ / CSS / CSGO

I am STILL running bot servers (CSGO) today!

After twenty years!

Well, about a decade since I was last caught digging around in sourcemod in any meaningful way. I'm pretty sure I originally joined on an older forum when it was just amxmod or whatever they had for CS1.4~6 and I wanna say WarcraftMod? So bang on 20 years ago for when I started out.

Man, I am old.

Also, found bail's Stripper:source, which was what i remember using for this last time. Unfortunately the linked plugin doesn't remove existing spawnpoints, for whatever reason, so I combined the 2 to rip out the face-2-face spawns and inject new ones. Now I can play deathmatch with my kids on the crazy large pubg style maps.

Stripper (Source) should have no trouble removing -anything- including existing spawns.

Been hacking BSPs for a long time.
First it was ented.exe to directly modify the BSPs.

Then I wrote this CS MM plugin to directly modify the BSPs
http://filebase.bots-united.com/inde...ct=view&id=297

Then I started using Botmans stripper

Then I wrote this GUI to directly edit the BSPs.
http://filebase.bots-united.com/inde...ct=view&id=177
(Then I updated it but only to read Source BSPs. and never released it.)

Then I started using bail's Stripper:source which is awesome and STILL going!

Send a map and what you want to do and I will send a stripper example that deletes them.
