Made to use a new feature included in left4downtown2

Intercepts the L4D2 melee attacks on Special Infected (except Boomer) and hacks/replaces their staggering function call, by that removing their 'dies to fifth strike' melee condition.

You should be able to bash around Jockeys/Hunters/Smokers/Spitters all day without them dying.

    Requires left4downtown2

    Changelog:
    • 1.0.0 - Release
    • 1.0.1 - added binary SI control flag
    • 1.0.2 - fixed problem with control flag

    Convars:
    • l4d2_melee_immortals_version - version of this plugin
    • l4d2_melee_immortals_enabled - on/off functionality
    • l4d2_melee_immortals_flags (default 31) - binary flag of immortal SI. 1 = smoker, 2 = boomer, 4 = hunter, 8 = spitter, 16 = jockey. [31 equals ALL]

I gotta agree shoving infected to death was way to unrealistic for L4D2,does this work on common infected or just special infected?

Heh, 'ought to distract the survivors when they question why they can't kill that jockey by melee attacks.

Random chance of death you mean? I called the Plugin Melee Immortals and not Melee Roullette, scripting a "player_shoved" randomized Slayer is a matter of minutes

Could we get this functionality on a per character basis?
