Visual C++ 2005 Beta is free at the moment [Linky]

It has a Very good and detailed MSDN with good web support and has code warnings similar to Visual Basic, still some bugs and incomplete areas like the GUI designer but I like it and when it's finished i'm gonna finally upgrade from Visual Studio 6 to 2005
