I believe server owners who use this are smart enough to put 2 and 2 together, they'll just set the cvar for bought xp very very low.

Ok found out something about this.. If u have lets say $10,000 and u wanted to buy xp and hp.. they both cost $5,000 a peice i type /buyxp and it buys automaticly 2 for me.. so i cant buy my xp and hp. or if u are to buy 1 set of hp and u have 10,000 it buys 2 for u.

yes thats correct. it buys up to the maximum amount of XP, otherwise people would be buying xp a lot more which would waste their time and put more stress on the server with overflows.

what i do is i buy some HP first, say buyhp a few times then use buyxp if i need it.

usually only really low levels need to buy both hp and xp, moderate levels can get away with buying just exp if they have good +hp heroes and max level players only really buy hp.

i was thinking of defaulting the buyxp amount to the sh mercy xp, assuming the cvar isnt in a config file. you think this is a good idea? hopefully ill get to work on some of the plugins and heroes this weekend. i worked on this plugin a little bit, i put JTP's suggestion in to enable/disable items by setting the buy amount to zero. im also going to have it bind F9-F12 for buying items on client connect so they dont need to type it if they want to buy.

Then atleast make it a cvar...
I have (and I think alot of other people have) my F8-F12 buttons bound.

i also thought about getting the users commands already bound to the function keys, binding the merchant to them when they connect, then binding their original commands back to the function keys on disconnect
