Hi,

I got a big problem

Since I updated AMX Mod X our Server crashs a lot and don't restart agian.

I tested a lot and can now say that it's defently not because of Metamod.
I tried out the new Metamod-p. Than I changed back to the normal.
But it didn't help.

So it's defently because of AMX. I changed nothing. I just updated the binaries of AMX. (also the modules)

So, where is the problem? Can somebody help me? Why I'm the only one, who has the problem? I'm sure I did everything right.

Greez

Mine does the same thing (cept it comes back up)

It only happens at map change.

Reverting Metamod had no effect.

At this point I am considering restoring the older AMXX mod

Sorry, maybe I didn't understand you, Dorksville.
But the plugins are all for AmX Mod X and everything worked fine with the version 1.00.

Then I updated AMXX (including the bugfix for metamod-p, because I wanted to use it) to version 1.01.

Thanks ronin, that you tell it.
Now I'm know that I'm not the only n00b who has problems

* Hardcoded linkents have been replaced with dynamic linkents. No large list of entities that get outdated fast as new mods come and old ones update.
* Extra enginecallback function slots, for future engine updates. Valve have to add 128 new functions before Metamod-P gets out of date.
* Autodetects gamedll for unknown/new mods (so you don't have to use metamod-config to make Metamod-P work on those mods).
* Because of reasons above, you basicly never need to update metamod again anymore. This works all future mods and updates.
* Better performance/less CPU usage than original Metamod.
