Yesterday I played a game where one of us in the survivor team died.
This player left and another one connected, he coulden't choose team becuase the infected side was full and the surivor team had one dead bot. He got kicked 30 seconds later (defualt settings) and another player joined who coulden't choose team either, he got kicked and another player joined... and vice versa.

I would really love to see an option where either the player can join the human team as a dead survivor or disable the autokick if the player moves the camera or observers a player. Also make the spectate command work for co-op maps.
Ok, i'll find a workaround for this.

This might be to your help. This problem is cuased as long as l4d_specafk_speconconnect is set to 1 (which is what I want by the way, by disabling it people wont get the chanse to choose which team they want to play in after they've connected.
By setting it to 0, people can join the human team as a dead survivor,
but they will randomly be put in one of the teams. Of course they can switch teams later on, but I would be more then happy if you'd find a workarround for it.

This error shouldn't cause any problems in the game, except for the spec warning when the rescue vehicule is leaving .... but i've already fixed that, but i haven't released it yet because i have to fix the problem about player joining the server when a survivor is already dead. I think i'll do this tonight.

I use spec-team pluggin since 10 days ... Really need to your pluggin ;)

No yet. A spectaror cannot switch to a dead survivor. That's an issue of the game, not the plugin.

The real problem was when someone just joined the server and it was forced to spectarors until it finishes loading, and what i'm going to do 2 things about this:

1. If a player joins the game and it becomes a dead survivor, it won't be switched to spectators.
2. Since Valve fixed the issue about connecting players taking over the bots while they're still loading, making them easy target for infected, i'm going to make this feature (switch to spectators on connect) disabled by default.
