Is it possible to change the color of print in the console?
Since errors get red color, maybe it would be possible to use it for printing some chat messages in red? Maybe even in other colors?
Mainly interested in CSS.

It's definatly possible in L4D2, I don't know if they added it for CS:S also lately.
Just try it out, it would be the same way like in the chat.

They have not added it to CS:S, sadly.

However, there should be a way to get it to display red text, since there is a way for the game to display red text, so it only makes sense.

The red text is a error display.

The question is, if the server is able to send a specific usermessage to the client to display an error message from serverside.

Last time I was digging in the HL2SDK and trying out things I didn't find a way to do it as far as I remember.

Yea it would be nice. TF2 also uses green text, as well as red, the former being for Bug Report submittals.
