What's wrong with Steam Counter-Strike Anthology ? [ 17th April 2014 ]

A world wide corruption of game files of users has occured in which the entire cstrike folder was emptied.

Symptom: "Could Not Load Library Client" Error and/or Half-Life Screen on starting Counter-Strike

Workaround: People are uploading archives ( compressed files ), claiming that those are old backups from steam. However, these files can't be trusted as it may contain Backdoors.

Just restore previous version of the cstrike folder and disable auto update for CS on Steam

I hope you don't mean restoring by I, having a backup, which I don't. Otherwise, you should read it again :

I have the same problem with cstrike folder.

I re-install Counter Strike from Steam library but not appear cstrike folder gg ^^

Do not download any archive from anyone claiming to have a backup.
1) It is illegal (only Valve and authorized 3rd parties can distribute their software, states so in the EULA)
2) You have no way of knowing what you are actually getting (ie, virus, no-steam, etc)
