Hey Arrow....I have both IPB, the Donation Tracker, and Sourcebans I utilize if you need some access to test or develop this functionality. Currently, folks donate via the donation tracker to paypal. I then see this and have to manually edit their IPB group to show donor, then manually add them to Sourcebans with the reserved slot parameter. Having all of this automated would be a godsend......if you need someone to help provide some information, feel free to let me know.

Could you please export your database, upload it somewhere at your website and send me the link.

I have testet the Sourcebans, the MyBB and the Basic Donator Interface in a "dry" setup (Without any Servers or other Users). Now it is Time for testing this system in a real Setup

SMF Integration is neraly done (it was very similar to mybb).
Just a little warning: If you are using this system (when I relaese it), do not think it magically solves all your money problems. it just makes donating easier and safes you a lot of time after you have configured it.

The configuration can be difficult for anyone, who has never configured a PHP-Programm with the config-file before.
This is a 250 Line config file, but dont be afraid, there are a lots of hints and help inside.
If you follow the instructions exactly, the System will work fine !
But if you do something wrong (for example, enter the dono group name instead of the id) then you could mess up your database !
There is no Idiot check included, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

I have attacked a sample config file, so you can see what is coming up to you, if you are going to use this software.

The auto-reset function is done:

• If a User donats, his current forum groups are saved and he gets promoted
• After a configurable ammount of days the rights are revoked
• The saved groups are restored

There is one problem with this method:
If you have at your Forum System Ranks, that are assigned when a User has a certain post count,
the following could happen (not approved):

• The limit for rank 2 is 100 posts
• A donator has got 99 posts when donating
• The rights might get revoked, if he posts another post

or

• The limit for rank to is again 100 posts
• A donator has got 99 posts when donating
• The donator made some posts (his count is 105, so he ranked up)
• After the given time, the rank is reset to the rank that was saved when donating
• So the use has rank 1, I am not sure if the forum systems check the post counts at every login or at every post (or ???)

I might fix the First Issue in Mybb if I add them the donator group as an additional User Group,
but the user has to switch to the donator group by himself.


Please let me know what you think about it (and hopefully someone come up with a possible solution)

Sorry, I think this is Impossible, because the System need Access to the Database of the Website/Forum/...
And I dont think that you have DB-Access there (or do you have ?)
But if you would like to, I could help you install a System where integration is possible
I recommend using MyBB, because the interation feature should not have the above mentioned bugs when the additional User Group is used

I have a important Question to you all:
Should additional Payment Providers be aviable only to people who have donated a small ammount ? (For Example 10€)
Please notice that developing this software is time consuming. And you are making money with it.
So I think it would be fair to give a bit back, if you want to have additional payment providers.
Please tell me what you think about it, and if you would donate.

PHP-Fusion is added to the ToDo list.

I am currently rewriteing the System to provide a better Integration Support

To Integrate the Dono Interface to a System you need two files: (in this example the system is mybb)

• integration.mybb.php: This files tells the System how to add or remove Useres
• config.mybb.php: This file contains the config-options for the Integration

The Advantages are:

• The installations size is reduced
• The config files has only the options you need
• The integrations are easier to include
