Ever since the last update i have had a problem most of my servers randomly crashing (24-48 hours). I saw a post on the HLDS mailing list and some believe it MAY have something to do with SM.

MetaMod:Source v1.7.1V, SourceMod v1.2.2-dev hg2711

Crash dumps attached from two different servers.

Here are what mine look like. I see the most crashes on my CTF server.

Yep. At least 1-2 crashes a day on pipeline, but sporadic crashes on all other servers as well (running MetaMod:Source v1.7.1V, SourceMod v1.2.2-dev hg2711)

Ok - Good to know that i'm not the only one. I'm trying to figure out if this is an issue with SM or not. Has anyone had problems running their servers without SM (Vanilla)? I dont recall seeing anyone with a vanilla server crashing as well.

Thats cause no one runs a real vanilla server that gets any sort of use.

Yep, same thing here. Lots of crashes, especially when the server is full

However, it seems that someone triggered the crash at my end, using some kind of exploit.

More info: clicky.

That exploit has been known for at least 6 months at this point. Valve is unwilling to fix it. The quickest way to prevent it is to disable rcon (firewall off port 27015 TCP, the game doesn't need it)
