I did what you've posted about the wiki link! Which is creating a gamemode_casual_server.cfg right?

I guess the punish is from killing teammates, isn't it?

and I've found 1 cvar about the "punish", but its on 0
mp_tkpunish "0"

It is on casual mode though right? as in game_mode 0 and game_mode 0? If not then you may need to change it in the gamemode_competitive_server.cfg

I started a thread on this myself earlier this week. It seems things may have changed at the patch before the last one.

Also, no one seems to know what is up or even that some of their own server cvars are not working.

I bet you are doing something wrong with the gamemode configs. To bypass this you can delete the gamemode configs and just use the server.cfg ;)

The problem with that is the cvars will not work when placed in that file as well.

I've tried the first one, it didn't workout, but I didn't try the other solution which is making it competitve.
