Is there a way to block a LAN cafe by IP somehow so it can't see a server, without adding it to a ban cfg.
I just dont want the server stating that its banned just that it can't connect/blocked to game

I cant really do that due to the firewalls being responsible for about 6 boxes most of which are hired to public.

OK I dint realise that at all. I just assumed that it would present itself as an ID ban does and informed the player they had been banned. Thanks.

EDIT:

Banning by IP results in the same thing as banning by ID and informs a player they have been banned. its not what I want to do. If it stated your IP has been denied I'd be happy but banned inst the message I want to convey.

yeah thanks bacardi. I use sourcebans, well as much as it lets me there are faults.

I should clarify that I dont want to have the players at the cafe try join and read that they are banned. Just that they cant connect. I dont think its possible.
