I want to update from the sb 1.4.11 I currently use, but lately

There are so many different versions now.

My sb so far also has sourcecomms and maybe one or another change I completely forgot about.

I'm not sure which of these is the best to use.

What different features does everything have?

It seems I'm mostly looking at 1.50B vs 1.52F

SourceBans 2.0 isn't stable and just for testing purposes. It progresses slowly if at all and it's not recommened to use it in a production environment.
The SourceBans 1.5 game plugin seems to be stable enough to use. It features a lot more commands and has a nicer interface. It is for use with the SB 1.4.11 database scheme.
That forked release (which sadly continues the same versioning scheme) merged lots of customizations from different sources around this forum and the official repo. I can't recommend it though.
"SourceBans 3" looks like a promising piece of software, but is far from done yet.

Why do you feel like having to update at all?

I have a need for sb_addadmin specifically, that's about it.

I've otherwise have had no errors/glitches/broken functionality since I installed it, which was months before the steam3 change.

Is the fork release only changes to the web panel? It seems to appear that way. GitHub's bein slow what with the massive DDoSing and stuff atm.

My fork has edits to the plugin as well. Such as family sharing evasion detection, IP evasion detection, and many other things.

But I feel like getting rid of it. And replacing it with the 1.5 Beta plugin.

when i used sourcebans 2.0 from the official website it didn't really cause any problems or was unstable.

but is there any sourceban version that does not touch the admin lists? still looking to use it to only view bans. u can simply unban by copying the steamID into the chat in game.
