I am gonna take it as the riot plugin is dead as far as support and creator for this...I suggest someone takes over quickly ...For this is the best zm mod out there C-MON guy's!!!

This version is no longer maintained, but the plugin itself is not dead. It's being integrated into the next release of Zombie:Reloaded. So far this is the only version available, so anyone is welcome to fix issues in this plugin until it's ready in Zombie:Reloaded.

w00t, Richard... can't wait multi-game-mode in the next ZR

I really wish I was more proficient in this sourcepawn coding, but I'm not and can't offer any other help other than alpha/beta testing.

In short, we've been saying this for the last two years: it's coming, it's coming, it's coming, it's coming...

The main reason for this delay is school. But now the plugin base and game mode implementation is getting ready for use. This had to be done first because it affects how features are implemented. Once this is ready, we can start porting features from ZR and ZRiot onto our new framework and get some playable versions of the new ZR plugin.

Current development state:
  1. Plugin base framework: pretty much done, we have what we need so far
  2. Game modes implementation: almost done, need to solve some design issues
  3. General features: far from done, missing a lot of features
  4. Classic zombies vs humans game mode: more or less ready
  5. Zombie Riot game mode: far from done

Most of the remaining work is the general features, such as admin menus, classes, spawn protection, model management, etc. Some will just be ported and some will have major improvements.

All I have to say is, a new version is coming. I don't know when, but some day there will be a release post about a new Zombie:Reloaded version with support for this riot game mode built-in. A very optimistic goal is a release late summer 2011, but it might be a few months later (two years after the last Zombie:Reloaded beta 2 release).

That sucks. i think it should still be developed as its OWN plugin. I don't care much for Zombie:Reloaded seeing as how its A LOT like zombiemod. I HATE zombiemod. Anyways, good luck with everything. I gave up on trying to make it work, now im moving onto RPG ScoutzKnivez, and Jail-Break. ^_^
Maybe if i ever take the time and sit down, i could possibly get it to work. But, im to lazy.

The reason they are merged is that their source code and features are almost identical (they both have classes, ztele, market, effects and other core parts). It's easier to maintain one plugin than fixing a bug or adding a feature in two plugins.

How the gameplay will be is entirely up to how you configure it. You could even have a multimod server with mixed classic ZM on some maps and riot on other maps. And if you don't like a certain feature you should be able to disable it (except for essential core parts).
