Okay. 1.8.2 dev build 60 is working fine on my non-updated server, as far as I can see. I'm troubleshooting a problem in a different thread where cz bots are buying guns in gungame no matter what settings I have, but other than that I'm fine for right now.

the installer won't load for me, so i tried both bases, and that doesnt work either

edit: nevermind, the bases worked for me, someone edited by liblist.gam for some reason (must've been steam), but the installer still won't run.

I would recommend that you put huge bold letters at the top of your downloads Page since you've remove 1.8.1 people are going to think it's a new release for all games. Game servers updated their own thing and broke a few czero servers. Btw why can't cz support be added to 1.8.2?

Hopefully Valve updates it soon. In the meantime, use AMX Mod X 1.8.1. I'll look into whether we can detect older CS binaries and stay compatible.

We only realized the problem once we were well into the release process. AMX Mod X uses the same binaries for both CS 1.6 and CS:CZ. Normally, this isn't a problem, because Valve uses the exact same binaries as well (CS:CZ just has new maps/models/etc). However, in this transition period, CS 1.6 has been updated on SteamCMD and CS:CZ has not, so they actually differ.

We'll fix this for 1.8.3, likely, if Valve hasn't updated CS:CZ yet.

Am I okay using the 1.8.2 dev hg60 build on cz? I personally had no problems with it, but I didn't know if there was something I was missing.

BTW, if you guys need a test CZ server for coding, I have one right now that isn't in use for anything serious yet.

Thats the same one i ran for along time on windows but went back to release of 1.8.1
