Hello guys, i have 29 running server at this moment, with 102.4 ~ 128 tickrate.

In the last two weeks, i install this tool netdata for monitore my dedicated server. i recommend this tool, it's a full server monitor..

Only SRCDS Ports are open, all traffic over network its only of CSGO Servers.

But, the question.. I can observe my inbound traffic with low number clients its 5 Megabits/s and the Outbound its 3~4 time more large than Inbound traffic, hiting 20 Megabits/s.

This is normal for SRCDS? Have outbound bandwidth 4 times large then inbound? Or exist any param to reduce or cancel? Its possible this outbound traffic its because, all clients on Server Browser requesting the Server Query Infos or anything like that?

Thanks guys.

20Mbit/s for 29 servers? Are those servers 1 slot servers?

My 8 servers hitting 150Mbit/s outbound, lol....

"with low number clients". Now i have 90 online users on servers with 25 Megabits/s. Sum all servers i have 370 Open Slots. 25% of total capacity.

CSGO game take much more bandwidht than other games, I don't know does TF2 take as much also.

So, it depends (optimized) maps and player count how much bandwidht players are going to use.

Lets say... 30 players are alive and everyone are seen each other on map and shooting.
In a net_graph diagram in: value raise temporary average around 1000 Bytes per tick.
1000 Bytes per updatepacket x 128 updaterate per second x 30 players = 3840000 Bytes per second
3,84 Mega Bytes / second ~ 30,72 Mega bits per second
And this is just wild guess what happen in that time on map.

You can limit bandhwidht usage by lowering tickrate aka updaterate and player count.
If you are going to set max rate value for players, they will going to get lag and CHOKE.
