I don't know why, but when I set redirect_auto 2 players are redirected on the first server in list, not on the next server.

That's my serverlist:

hmm maybe i should read my own code more often. in the past i thought it would be different but now that i checked the code again it indeed is like this:
calling it the "next server in list" feature does not mean it's using the server next from the current one. it still starts with trying to redirect to the first server. if that is full or down it tries the next server in the list, so the second one. if that is full or down it again tries the next server...well, you get it.
on the other hand random redirection really chooses a random number, then checks whether the server is not full or offline - if it is, it rolls the dice again until it found a valid server.

so there is the two options you got.

i will update the wiki entry for the CVAR descriptions to explain that better.
