SmartFTP is the best i've tried and it's free. The only thing it has the message to buy for bisness always. And It does both type of connections.

I agree. I use SmartFTP to connect to my FTP server and i never have any issues. I have been using it for more than 30 days, just click okay and the program continues as normal.

Look, I know my post was read weirdly in that I said it doesn't do SSL connections, but just trust me. I tried using it for FTP secured connection to my FTPS and it kept switching back to anonymous for me.

It read "SSL: Login: Blah Password: ******" but as soon as I hit connect it changed to "Anonymous" and the login and password were blanked out, and it wouldn't let me connect giving me a "This site uses encryption, you must connect securely to use it" type message.
